The Secret of Your Success

The web is full of "experts" wanting to sell you the secrets to financial success on the World Wide Web.  The truth is:

You will be successful on the internet for the same reasons you are successful in the "real" world.

Almost every day I receive one or two unsolicited e-mail messages trumpeting the latest and greatest scheme to get rich quick on the internet.  Today's edition promises I can earn thousands while I surf the web.
Every week or so I meet with a prospective client who has great dreams of an internet business, but doesn't want to know anything about the internet.  The vision seems to be…  One, hire someone to build a web site; Two, sit back and rake in the cash.  These plans do not work.

If you are already running your business, you already know what it takes to do business on the Web.  They're the same things that make you successful now.  Let me guess.  Hard work?  Business acumen?  Customer Service?  Adequate Capitalization?  Good Luck?  I don't know.  It's your business; they're your secrets.  The point is, you are the expert in your business.  We at Reflective Systems can only provide the expert advice and technical services needed to get you onto the web.  The effort and the rewards will be yours.
If your business already has a web site, but it's not performing as you hoped, we can help.  Just as your accountant helps you develop a successful plan for achieving your financial goals, we can help you set realistic goals for the web side of your business, and help develop a plan to meet those goals.

If you are thinking of starting your business on the Web, we would like to help.  Every successful web businessperson I know is a trailblazer.  The rules haven't been written yet.  If you have a good plan, and the determination to carry it out, there is nothing to stop you from being successful.
Ask yourself some simple questions.  How would I run this business in the "brick and mortar" world?  If I opened a storefront in my hometown, would my neighbors come in to buy what I am selling?  How will I be different that the store across the street?  If you have positive answers to these questions then a web business will probably also be positive.
